Please open again. I can reproduce the problem at will.
To invoke the issue, copy an URL ( http:// or file:/// ) into Klipper. For
instance in your browser select the URL and right click on it. Select copy. A
popup appears and it captures the mouse cursor. Everytime you move the cursor a
copy of the menu is produced. The desktop is effectively useless now.

To recover use ctl-alt-del and logout. Log in as root. For the previous user's
account cd to .local/share/klipper and delete history2.lst. Logout and login in
the user's account. Should be good now.

Note: If you try rebooting to clear the problem the next login attempt will
fail. The history must be cleared
Note: If you have clipboard sharing between your desktops with kdeconnect you
could break both.
