This file still valid ? > > Gilles Caulier Sorry for the late reply. I pinned down the problem to the selection of the database. At that time, when I reported the issue, digikam was not working with SQLite database, even though the binary (sqlite3) was working properly. I've installed sqlite3 via homebrew. It might be that digikam uses it's own libraries to access SQLite. After switching to "MySQL Internal" database, digikam was working nicely. Today I've tested digikam 7.7.0 again with both databases. No issues at all, even with SQLIte (version 3.41.2). I currently cannot install 8.0.0 as I don't have root access on my Mac. I'll ask my IT to install it. The issue can be closed for now.
