I also tried Konsole master with the same result.
This issue is pretty frequent with fractional scaling, so I took 5 minutes to
apply a quick patch:

I'm unable to reproduce the issue with it so far. That is clearly not fixing
the bug, it is fixing the result though.
Please note that, even with my patch, I could reproduce a slight issue with
underlined font. I had a look and, from what I understand, that may have a
different cause.
