Hi, Ester!
You have two features enabled that make the brushes look slower:
1) You have "Dyna Brush" selected, which is explicitly slowed-down. Just select
normal "Freehand Brush" tool (or press 'B' key).
2) The circle around the brush means that you have "Brush Stabilizer"
activated, which explicitly delays the brush. To disable it:
1) Activate "Freehand Brush" tool
2) Select "Tool Options" docker
3) Select "Basic Smoothing" option instead of "Stabilizer".
