Bug ID: 468600 Summary: Show provider for each of the connections Classification: Applications Product: ktrip Version: unspecified Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: cqu...@arcor.de CC: nicolas.fe...@gmx.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When KTrip shows the list of available connections it does not show where this connection comes from. That might be useful to understand duplicated entries. For instance, I have enabled German DB and Munich MVV providers. When searching for a commuter trip inside Munich, also DB offers a connection, which leads to duplicated entries. I am fine with having both entries, but it would be useful to have something (icon?) that shows which provider has reported such connection. In fact, having duplicated entries can be useful, since the two providers in this case show complementary information (DB shows delays and other info while MVV shows the direction and the platform). The icon solution would probably be the best in terms of UI, specially in mobile devices. But currently there seems to be no icon information available in the provider section (and it looks like the implementation of the providers does not have that information either, after looking at https://invent.kde.org/libraries/kpublictransport/-/tree/master/src/lib/networks). So maybe a short acronym with the provider could be a fall-back solution. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
