            Bug ID: 468543
Summary: open web page from file system correctly
    Classification: Applications
           Product: konqueror
           Version: 23.03.90
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: khtml
          Assignee: konq-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: estel...@elstel.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I can open a .html file directly from the file system by passing it as
parameter to the konqueror executable. However all links within the html need
to be relative for this to function. Why does Konqueror not use the current
directory for links with absolute path? That should be easy to do and I could
test web pages up to a certain extent offline. No less important would be that
I could view web pages downloaded with "wget -p" using konqueror, then. I have
a lot of these downloads and this type of download may be preferred to .war-s
due to compatibility and resource sharing.
