This functionality is already available in
nextcloud/google/cardbook(thunderbird). Could this be implemented ?
It's based on the support of "X-ABLABEL" in vcf files. and is concerning a
bunch of fields (EMAIL, TEL, ADR, URL, X-ABDATE)
Some example :
