In OpenSuse and Knoppix since Plasma5 the Widget »Digital Clock« has changed:
With KDE4 and Plasma4 the Calendar System could be easily switched in the
settings of the widget, to Hebrew, Mohammedian, Indian, Chinese, Julian, etc.
Any Calendar System could be set for each of several clocks, which could be
used in the same panel side by side.
Why was the old code abandoned?
