Thank you for your fast reply.
My problem has solved by itself. I assume that the problem was triggered from
running zypper updating some binaries (but not digikam). Probabely some shared
libraries have been updated, and using them from within digikam without reboot
was the real cause of my trouble.
Thus everything is fine.
