It got 99% better, no matter if my Laptop screen has been arranged partly or fully below the external screen (external is always the main screen with the panel). I now only have a one remainder of misbehaviour: the google-chrome browser window on the external big screen with a height > 1080 (more than the laptop y-height) gets resized a little bit when I close the lid - although it has been positioned on the external screen. But I cannot reproduce this reliably. So good enough for me. I'll post some updates whenever I find sth. to reproduce for you devs. One of the latest updates in 5.27 seems to have fixed a lot in this case.
