Unfortunately, unless you are a very skilled software developer, there isn't much you can do at this point in time to move this forward. The right people are currently actively working on it, which is great. I hope they won't get stuck in which case emotional support might help. ^^ This is one of the more complicated topics to work on even for proficient developers, and one of the people reviewing it is very careful about this being implemented cleanly, which sets a high bar. The later commit I mentioned (https://invent.kde.org/system/dolphin/-/commit/ba930ddb3635fe2d94d727e72aaf261513b28060) is already merged so you might already see slight performance improvements once you update to the yet-to-be-released Dolphin 23.04. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
