STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a user 2. Make sure that user does NOT have lpadmin 3. 'Add a Printer' OBSERVED RESULT A password dialog will show to elevate its privileges for the next steps EXPECTED RESULT Terminal output: libkcups: CUPS-Get-Devices last error: 1025 Forbidden libkcups: Calling cupsDoAuthentication() password_retries: 0 libkcups: Called cupsDoAuthentication(), success: false (nothing prompted for authentication) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.27 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This bug also affects Kubuntu 22.04 LTS.
