Bug ID: 467570 Summary: Flatpak app that does not request any special permissions doesn't have Permissions section on its app page at all Classification: Applications Product: Discover Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Flatpak Backend Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: m...@ratijas.tk CC: aleix...@kde.org, jgrul...@redhat.com, trav...@redhat.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 157419 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=157419&action=edit no special permissions for Decode app SUMMARY Flatpak app does not require any special permissions, so Permissions section at the bottom of app page is misleadingly completely missing. With the new feature to open Flatpak KCM right from Discover page, it is of no use for such apps, because the button is invisible along with the rest of that page section. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Discover. 2. Search for e.g. Decoder or "qr code". 3. Open app, scroll to bottom. OBSERVED RESULT No "Permissions" section. EXPECTED RESULT Permissions section header and a paragraph explaining that app this app does not request any special permissions.
