Summary: Unwanted popup on login - wayland only
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.27.2
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR

                CC: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
***
When logging in a Wayland session a popup appears. It captures the mouse cursor
and any mouse movement creates a multitude of popups.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login to a Wayland session.
2. When the popup appears attempt to cancel it.
3. Restart because nothing useful can be done

OBSERVED RESULT
A new popup is created with any cursor movement. The popup has a "cancel" item
but it cannot be accessed but any attempt creates a new popup.

EXPECTED RESULT
After login no popup shpuld appear.
Get on with work.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma Fedora 37
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103
Qt Version: 5.15.8

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The problem is reproducable on Wayland. It does not occur on X11. Perhaps this
a corruption rather than a bug. I can create a new user and login to a Wayland
session and the problem does not occur.
The popup consists of ----------
HTML Document
Google Chrome
Firefox
Konqueror
Falkon
Kwrite
Okular
Calligra Words
Kate
Disable This Popup
Cancel

Is anyone willing to track this down? If not I can save any "keepers" then
delete and recreate the user.
