SUMMARY
Restarting plasmashell fixes this issue, switching from "Folder view" to
"Desktop" and back also fixes the issue.
Changing any icon sorting settings doesn't do anything.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have some icons on your desktop
2. Wait some time or put your laptop to sleep?
OBSERVED RESULT
Icons will disappear.
EXPECTED RESULT
They stay there.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.2 and before maybe since 5.27 Beta?
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Both X.org and Wayland. Multi-monitor setup: laptop + external screen, laptop
screen is off. IIRC I don't have this issue with only the laptop screen. Also
this may not be a Folder view issue.
