SUMMARY
The Notification Widget does not show any notifications until it is resized. If
you decrease its size until it shows the I logo and then resize it back to
normal, it starts working and shows new notifications as it should. But at best
until the next reboot. I had the same issue back at Bullseye but it persisted
through a new install of Bookworm. But I kept my /home
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add Notification Widget to Desktop
2. Wait for/create a notification (It does not show anything)
3. Decrease the size of the widget until it only shows the I logo.
4. Resize the widget back to normal
5. Wait for/create a notification (It starts working as expected)
OBSERVED RESULT
Widget is not showing any notifications

Showing all new notifications
