            Bug ID: 466554
Summary: [Usability] Autocomplete a persons name in the text
                    box when tagging people
    Classification: Applications
           Product: digikam
           Version: 7.10.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Other
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Faces-Workflow
          Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: jsh121...@hotmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

The current workflow for me is:
1. Hover over a face to tag
2. Type in 2 or 3 letters
3. Arrow down to select the persons name
4. Hit enter

I would rather have the first persons name autocomplete in the text box without
having to arrow through the list. This would allow me to skip step 3, and
simply hit enter if the first person is the person I want.

I would do it similar to a google search where the part I type is not
highlighted, and the part autocompleted is highlighted. This way I can just hit
backspace to stop/remove the autocomplete if I didn't need it for that tag.

Thanks,
Jon
