            Bug ID: 466243
Summary: Discover Updates new More Information button gives too
                    much initial information.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Discover
           Version: 5.27.0
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: discover
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: lnx...@westlot.net
                CC: aleix...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
The new Discover update More Information button gives too much information for
a quick inspection of packages to install, especially with a large number of
packages to update where you only get the names of a few packages in the window
before having to scroll. I believe the old way, showing a simple list of
package names, was much easier to get a quick overview. I think the old way of
displaying the package names with current and new version was much easier to
get an overview of what is being updated. Something I also think would be more
helpful is that when a package was clicked it would show the package
information including, not only the release notes but the package description
as well as the package description. The package description is something I've
been wanting displayed for quite some time. As it stands now, if I see an
unfamiliar package I, I have to fire up Synaptic or Google it to find out what
it actually is.
