Bug ID: 465107 Summary: Upgrade to 5.26.90 resulted in a huge App Launcher icon size Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Debian testing OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff) Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: loca...@tutanota.com CC: mikel5...@gmail.com, noaha...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY The latest KDE upgrade to 5.26.90 (see the enclosed log) resulted in the Application Launcher widget's icon becoming a huge, ridiculous size (see the enclosed pic) It's now about 10 times larger than what it used to be before the upgrade and, respectively, takes 10 times more space on the task bar. I tried, without success: 1. Removing the App Launcher from the Task Bar and then adding it back again 2. Changing the App Launcher icon to another icon (it was also huge ) and then reverting back to the default 3. Logging out of KDE and then logging back in again I'm filing this bug FYI, in case if you guys want to fix it. My solution was to switch to the Application Menu widget where the icon still has a sane size. EXPECTED RESULT The Application Launcher icon should have an appropriate size as it still does in the Application Menu widget. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 6.1.0-2-amd64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION See https://lists.debian.org/debian-kde/2023/02/msg00000.html -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
