STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. click on the audio icon in the taskbar 2. click configure 3. remove the thick of "play audio feedback for changes to: " 4. save 5. change the system audio volume with the shortcut keys or scroll while hovering on the volume icon OBSERVED RESULT delay for applying the audio volume EXPECTED RESULT no delay SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 5.26 KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.101.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 5.15.0-52-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i7-4500U CPU @ 1.80GHz Memory: 7.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 4400 Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
