Hum, I cannot reproduce this with Krita Version: 5.2.0-prealpha (git 5c98a72)
Appimage with Qt 5.15.7
Shift+space or shift+middle mouse button by default rotates the canvas so
perhaps there's something on your system that is somehow keeps shift locked and
also toggles middle mouse button events? You can remove these rotation options
in settings -> configure Krita -> canvas input settings -> rotate, but I am
still confused why it'd stay stuck registering shift... Does it still happen
with the latest version of Krita?
