Can reproduce. I took a look and those themes are misconfigured, specifying a
relative path for the background= keys in their theme.conf and theme.conf.user
files. The paths need to be absolute, or else SDDM won't be able to see them.

We could show an error message to the user here alerting them to the fact that
the theme is broken.
