The "bug" will be present.
Kickoff does not use the filters set in that systemsettings module.
This is partly deliberate, as we want to enforce a subset of krunner's plugins
as they don't all make sense here.
Kicker (Application Menu) has a config option for toggling bookmarks, files and
emails.
(which from the sounds of it is what you want)
Kickoff (Application Launcher) shares the hidden config option "runners" that
can be manually set.
default is shell,bookmarks,recentdocuments,locations,baloosearch
but it has no UI facing option.
I'll sync the config option that kicker has to kickoff's UI.
Then we need to change the KCM so that it's clearer as to what it actually
affects.
