Any change made to the backend, scaling or animation speed under wayland will
get you a black/no output screen as soon as you hit the apply button.
I can still switch to another vt to terminate the session, after login in again
i noticed the previous changes that caused the "crash" where applied.
This may be related to this one Bug 365471.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Log in to a wayland session
2.Go to system setting>display and monitor>compositor
3.Make any change and hit apply.
Actual Results:
The screen goes black with no output, as stated by my monitor.
