Setting up waydroid seems like some hassle. Can you run waydroid with
WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 environment variable and attach its output to this bug report?
On the other hand, I suspect that waydroid renders cursors using opengl or
vulkan. kwin prior to 5.26 does not support that. It will be fixed in 5.27. So
I suspect that it's going to be fixed in 5.27.
