wazhai <waz...@protonmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Component|kcm_powerdevil |general Product|systemsettings |kscreenlocker --- Comment #4 from wazhai <waz...@protonmail.com> --- I believe this feature request is still revenant. There isn't a user-friendly way to turn off the display sooner while locked. It seems that: > In Plasma 5.27, pressing Escape on the lock screen will turn off monitors. > See https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kscreenlocker/-/merge_requests/99 Couldn't kscreenlocker use the same mechanism to automatically turn off monitors with a shorter timer than the power profile specifies? I find this a rather important feature to save power. It's been requested over the years by others too: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/ulom4o/lock_and_turn_off_the_screen/ https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/9v5748/its_possible_to_turn_off_the_monitor_when_you/ https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/z2klhr/how_do_i_turn_off_the_screen_when_i_lock/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
