STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install 22.04 on x86 tablet, Wayland mode.
2. Try to use Maliit

OBSERVED RESULT
- Maliit does only open once, cannot be closed, if i pull down, never comes
back, no matter if an input filed is selected or the icon pushed on the tray.
Maliit worked well on 20.04 -based neon versions (Wayland) :(
EXPECTED RESULT
Maliit or Onboard is working normally.
