I've reproduced it on 3 different machines. I'm not sure if it's specifically icons on a task manager but it sure happens a lot. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Hover a plasma desktop panel. OBSERVED RESULT It will sometimes randomly generate that error and exit. EXPECTED RESULT Not exit and continue like normal.
