Placed the weather widget to the desktop 2. Set up location by searching for my city 3. Probably unrelated: toggled visibility of widget background a few times 4. Removed widget from the desktop 5. In a few seconds (at most 10) the graphical environment has crashed, but then restarted without intervention - Unusual behavior I noticed: This is related to the 2nd step. After setting the location, weather data seems to have been loaded (I already had the widget on my main panel with the same city and provider I selected here), but the blue circle in the middle of the widget is still spinning. - Custom settings of the application: Only the city and the provider, I think I've left everything else the default.
