Bug ID: 463412 Summary: I seem to connect to both Wi-Fi and Wired Ethernet Classification: Plasma Product: plasma-nm Version: 5.26.4 Platform: Kubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: marco_pari...@hotmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** Should Network Manager prefer wired over Wi-Fi? *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Plug in Ethernet Cable, Boot Computer with known Wi-Fi 2. Hover over the Network Manager wired icon in my tray OBSERVED RESULT It says that I am connected to BOTH: - Wired Ethernet: Connected to Wired connection 1 - Wi-FI: Connected to <ssid> Double-checking, I go to System Settings > Connections, and see both Wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi show connected there also. EXPECTED RESULT I would have expected the wired connection to take precedence, but maybe this is working as designed?
