Bug ID: 463219 Summary: Color depths other than 8-bit cause artifacts Classification: Applications Product: krita Version: 5.1.4 Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: * Unknown Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: rkolbas...@tutanota.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 154686 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=154686&action=edit Artifacts in 16-bit integer and 32-bit float modes SUMMARY When color depth is anything other than 8-bit it causes graphical artifacts. 16-bit integer color will have some vertical lines swapped, float modes break completely. Artifacts in newly drawn patches will persist when reopened in 5.1.3. Switching to software rendering doesn't help. This doesn't happen in 5.1.3. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a new image with color depth other than 8-bit. 2. Try to draw anything. OBSERVED RESULT See attachment. First three is 16-bit integer mode where I first noticed it. Last one is what happens in float modes. EXPECTED RESULT No artifacts.
