Can you please tell us how you installed Kdenlive (eg. Appimage, PPA, Flatpak,
Snap)?
(In case you don't know this info, you can go to kdenlive menu Help > Copy
Debug Information and paste the text here)
Also please try whether this is happening with the offical Appimage too
(Download the latest version here https://kdenlive.org/download/)?
