Bug ID: 463129 Summary: Classic form layout for desktops Classification: Frameworks and Libraries Product: kirigami-addons Version: unspecified Platform: OpenSUSE OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: jackhill3...@gmail.com CC: c...@carlschwan.eu Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 154631 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=154631&action=edit Comparison of Kalendar and Kate's settings forms. They are semantically similar and have the same core components, so hopefully a desktop design isn't too difficult. SUMMARY Is it possible to get the new mobile form design to change to a classic desktop form design when an application is opened in a desktop session? It looks like the current design could be tweaked slightly to make it more desktop-y. Both form styles have: * Headings * Subheadings * Controls * Help text STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Kalendar 2. Open settings dialogue OBSERVED RESULT Mobile-style settings page EXPECTED RESULT Classic desktop-style settings page.
