Seems like the same bug, yeah.
Some folks investigated and were thinking that maybe the NVIDIA driver changed
to try to take over multi-monitor stuff, and the NVIDIA driver and KScreen are
now competing, and KScreen loses but confuses the driver, so the external
screen ends up disabled.
No solid evidence of this though; it's just a theory.
