I'm not fond of "peek-a-boo" interfaces, as the missing UI items can confuse
the user. The only reason there is an option to hide the menu bar in full
screen mode is because it's become a "standard" option for distraction-free
editors. The path I've chosen to take is to make UI elements "faded", with the
editor text more prominent. I hope this makes sense.
