Digging further, I found that all libqalculate-based applications share the
same memory usage issue. I was able to trace it down to a call to the cln::expt
function from the cln library [1]. I mailed them [2] in order to understand the
problem better (and let them know about it).
If they say it's a bug on their side I'll set this report to RESOLVED UPSTREAM
(tell me if it's not appropriate). Else I'll see with the libqalculate people
what can be done about it. Anyway now I think it's NEEDSINFO WAITINGFORINFO.
