nvidia logs from affected driver version
Now, here's a disclaimer, I am quite sure that this is a problem on Nvidia's
side, since reverting to 520 series of drivers fixes it. Posting it here for
posterity, feel free to mark it as invalid.

Reproducible with kwin and compiz.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use both screens on Nvidia Optimus laptop.
2. Close the lid, or disable internal screen from systemsettings.
3. External screen becomes unbearably slow, disabling compositor works arond
aforementioned issue.
OBSERVED RESULT
Session becomes extremely slow
EXPECTED RESULT
Session should continue as usual with external screen.
