            Bug ID: 368821
Summary: Dolphin Places menu appears on different monitor from
                    the Dolphin app.
           Product: dolphin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: get...@live.com

In dolphin I have hidden the places panel and use the places drop down menu
that appears when you click the "house icon" at the front of the
location/address bar. The menu that appears shows up on a different monitor
from the rest of the application.

I'm using Dolphin version 16.04.2 from Debian Stretch/Sid (same version in
either)
My Graphix card is an Nvidia GTX 970 with the proprietary driver at version
370.28
I'm using xserver version: 7.7 Also from Debian Stretch/Sid
I have a 4 monitor configuration with three monitors in a row across and one
monitor centered above. The monitors are all 1080p with the exception of the
center one which is 1920X1200.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. have a multi monitor set up (I have 4, not sure if it happens with less),
may also be specific to Nvidia Proprietary Drivers
2. configure dolphin to hide the places panel and instead use to drop down
menu.
3. Click the drop down menu and observe.

Actual Results:
Menu on wrong monitor

Expected Results:
Menu should appear under the button that produced it, or in a sane location
regarding the placement of the window vs the edge of the screen.
