SUMMARY
I just updated to latest version from my fav 5.24 and i'm experiencing some
weird lag. Its not really noticable on my i7 11g machine, but its really
annoying on i5 laptop
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0. (optional) set your cpu freq to minimum so you can see this bug better
`echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/intel_pstate/max_perf_pct`
1. Go to settings > workspace behaviour > desktop effects and enable "desktop
grid"
2. press the hotkey that activates that effect
OBSERVED RESULT
the actual desktop grid only appears after like 1-2 seconds after you pressed
the key
EXPECTED RESULT
grid appears instantly just like it was in 5.24
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Garuda
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.100.0
Qt Version: 5.15.7
tested all the options of desktop grid, present windows and kwin, nothing seems
to help but downgrading
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
everything else works just fine though, the grid just loads for too long.
Its not a critical bug, you may say that its fine, buy more ram, etc
but that would be very nice if you can fix it so i can continue using plasma on
laptop, even when need to save battery and reduce cpu power ^-^
