Bug ID: 462361 Summary: Fedora Kionite: updating all installed apps after installing them Classification: Applications Product: Discover Version: 5.26.3 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Flatpak Backend Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: amanita+kdeb...@mailbox.org CC: aleix...@kde.org, jgrul...@redhat.com, trav...@redhat.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** Fedora Kionite is the immutable, flatpak-based version of Fedora, currently at Fedora 37. Discover seems not to be refined for that (rpm-ostree updates dont work yet) and shows a weird behavior installing Flatpaks. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Fedora Kionite 2. Add the Flathub repository file by opening it 3. reload, reboot etc. 4. Install a flatpak app 5. go to "updates" and you see that you have to update that app again OBSERVED RESULT After installing an app, I am prompted to update that app, which doesnt make sense. Before I update it, it doesnt show up in the app menu. EXPECTED RESULT Should install normally like on Fedora 37. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 37 KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.100.0 Qt Version: 5.15.7 Kernel Version: 6.0.9-300.fc37.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
