Bug ID: 368743 Summary: Regression kMail 5.3.x: kMail steals focus from quick search field Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: message list Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: kdeb...@customcdrom.de It happens nearly always and is really annoying: I switch to a folder, immediately click into the quick search bar above the message list and enter a search term. After entering one or two letters, the focus is stolen from the search bar, causing any subsequent key presses to invoke all interesting kinds of hotkey functions - which leads to blooming "reply-to"-windows and stuff... :-/ Needless to say that, after closing all undesired "reply-to" windows and what else, I also have to click into the search bar and position the cursor correctly to finally complete my originally intended search... This only appeared after switching to KDE Neon, ie. the older kMail included in Kubuntu 16.04 did not show this "focus stealing" behaviour. Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
