Well, "Kompare version 4.1.3" does not say much as the version number had not
been bumped for a while. (Now it has been changed to include the KDE
(application) Gear yymm in the version.) And there are also the underlying
libraries such as KDE Frameworks (KF5).
Ubuntu 16.04 is really old and ships really old versions of software which are
long out of upstream support. If you can confirm this is fixed in 20.04, then I
think we can close this bug.
