Notification Pop-Up from Steam, causes Steam client to hang Wayland

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open steam, install a game or wait until a friend enters a game so that the
client may show notification, once the notification is gone -> Client freezes
and has to be closed.
OBSERVED RESULT
Client freezes and can't be interacted with
EXPECTED RESULT
To be able to continue using it as normal
