STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open kate (preferably terminal to see exception)

OBSERVED RESULT
Not opening at all

EXPECTED RESULT
Opening the selected file

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Rolling back the package to version `22.08.3-1` fixes the issue
