SUMMARY
*** I noticed when I was zoomed in on a reference image that my brush left a
transparent square trail wherever I moved my brush. I restarted krita and it
still there.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use a reference image and put it on the canvas
2. Zoom in a bit 
3.  hover a brush over the reference image

OBSERVED RESULT
I noticed this when I was zoomed in on a reference image my brush left square
trails, I tested this on  b)basic 1 and Pencil 2

EXPECTED RESULT
you should see a trail of transparent squares wherever your brush moves to

this happens on only reference images so far, that when I move my brush over
