You needs windows 10 at least at right version. with Qt5, no way, you needs Qt6 compiled with cmake, not qmake, with right Qt6 and cmake version. So, if you want to see windows symlink support in digiKam, only the next 8.0.0 version will be fine, and compiled with Qt6 (8.0.0 support Qt5 and Qt6 for a transitional stage).
