I never used a kwantum theme so far. But I made the test with the Breeze Global
Theme. I was really surprised, after applying the Breeze Theme, that the
buttons reappeared in Hot Corners in Workspace Behavior and the menus, clicking
on a button, opened up again. A few days ago an idea came into my mind, that a
theme could be the cause for this issue. And I was confirmed now. But what
theme ?
In my MacOs-Layout I use Monterey Kde Dark Theme, WhiteSur Dark for the icons
and McSur Dark for Plasma Style. So, I reapplied Monterey Dark and the exact
themes and icons configuration that I use for my system. I wanted to apply for
each category the themes, switching themes one by one, to see what theme is
responsible for the non displaying of the buttons. And quickly I found the
solution: It's McSur Dark Theme ( I use it in Plasma Style), that is the cause
for this issue. When I switched the themes, using Monterey Dark instead of
McSur Dark for Plasma Style, the buttons in Hot Corners were again visible.
One year ago, I used McSur Dark to get my blurred panel more dark. Monterey was
lighter. But after a recent update, Monterey Theme got darker in the same way
as McSur Dark. In the future I'll use Monterey Dark in Plasma Style instead of
McSur Dark.

But anyway, there must be an issue in McSur Theme. One year ago, when I first
used McSur there was no problem with the buttons in Hot Corners. And a few
weeks ago, when McSur got updated, this issue arised.
