STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Switch HDMI source to another input
2. Switch back to the desktop input
OBSERVED RESULT
1. Plasma freezes for a few seconds
2. media playing stops and crashes, along with i.e. Firefox
3. the taskbar disappears while I guess Plasma restarts
4. desktop is again responsive
EXPECTED RESULT
Nothing

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This didn't use to happen till 5.25.5. I held back until 5.26.1 hoping that
this https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=460322 was the fix, but it still
happens.
