SUMMARY
The file selector dialog that appears when you right-click a clip in the
Project Bin and press "Replace Clip" is limited to only display files of
supported types; this is done through reading the file's extension, but only
lowercase file extensions are detected. For example, an MP4 file named
"file.MP4" will not appear, but "file.mp4" will. This is particularly urgent as
many digital cameras use the uppercase file extension by default.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a file of a type supported by Kdenlive with an uppercase file
extension (eg .MP4)
2. Right-click on a clip in the Project Bin, select "Replace Clip", and
navigate to the directory where the file is located.
OBSERVED RESULT
The file with the uppercase extension is not displayed.
EXPECTED RESULT
The file with the uppercase extension should be displayed.
