You can drag and drop a thumbnail to another program (e.g. Paint, VLC, Blender,
…). Some programs understand the generated URI from Digikam eg
File:///my-dir/my-file.
Some programs however (eg Blender) need a genuine Windows file path
(c:\my-dir\my-file).
Can a setting be provided to choose between a URI or a common Windows path?

Drag & drop a thumbnail into a program such as Microsoft Word or Blender Video
Sequence Editor.
OBSERVED RESULT
A URI such as File:///my-dir/my-file
EXPECTED RESULT
A common windows path
